Client Testimony – “I share my training session with another lady and I just LOVE IT. I had never met my training buddy before and was somewhat nervous and apprehensive when Jodie said she had found someone for me to train with. Since moving to Hervey Bay my weight had increased significantly and I had become very unfit so the thought of having a “stranger” see me as I struggled to gain some fitness and improve my health made me feel incredibly vulnerable but I also knew I needed a lot of support and motivation around me if I was to achieve success with my fitness goals. So I thought to myself what would I tell anybody else in this situation and the answer was to just give it a go!
Training with another person is GREAT! We laugh, we train, we whinge (only occasionally), then we laugh some more. But the best thing is the encouragement and support we give to each other. Training with another person keeps me accountable and motivated. We each have our own strengths and weaknesses, for example my training buddy is stronger than I am so this is motivating me to work harder.
Even though there are two of us training together, Jodie takes into consideration our abilities, our injuries and our own goals and manages to work out training plans that we both enjoy.
Training with another person is fun and we get to compare soreness stories the following week. I would highly recommend training with another person, it is good fun, it is motivating, it keeps you accountable and it shares the expense of a training session – which “is always a bonus”
